Moku Rome: an 800 m² garden restaurant with artificial vertical gardens
A restaurant designed like a film set, immersed in vertical greenery. And a second project with the same architecture studio.
Moku, which means “tree” in Japanese, is an 800-square-metre garden restaurant in Rome, near the Via Tiburtina film studios: wooden furniture, plays of light, tables on raised platforms like islands, all immersed in BM Luxury artificial vertical gardens, designed with the studio of architect Fabio La Commara.

A restaurant like a film set
Born from the idea of entrepreneur Marisa Jiang Kefeng, Moku combines Asian cuisines with Zen philosophy. At its opening on 25 January 2018 it welcomed almost three thousand people, with Anna Falchi, Milena Miconi and Matilde Brandi as hostesses.
The role of vertical greenery
Sliding walls, islands of tables and large green surfaces: the vertical gardens shape the spaces and create the feeling of dining in a garden, with no watering, insects or falling leaves.
Tian Tian Sushi: a restyling with the same studio
With the same architect we renovated the long-established Japanese restaurant Tian Tian Sushi on Via Gargano: vertical garden walls and unsightly pillars clad with pre-assembled panels, extremely easy to install.
